Short History of India
Nehru ran the government
of India’s subcontinent
When Gandhi
was no longer handhi.
Not an optimist
H. G. Wells
found that writing about the future sells
But like a playwright from the ancient Greek
that future had to be bleak
That was really good 😁

Thanks, Deb. I usually do the poems on the weekend; but, they were the strongest thing I had.

Thanks, Robyn. I didn’t have anything else to post due to writer’s block and a video game which possesses all of my waking hours and thoughts…

I can relate to the writers block – would like to try and pump a few words out but I am falling into every distraction pretty easily.

Yeah, but being a mom means you are automatically forgiven. The best excuse ever for writer’s block and all it costs you is nine months of swelling and mood swings and a day of horrible contractions…

Which video game are you immersed in?

Fallout 4…
I’ve been tempted. I’ve long suspected that my poetry is worse than everyone else’s but I don’t have the guts to try to prove it. I’ll try to screw up my courage.
Good call on The Night Before Christmas. That’s been parodied about as much as How the Grinch Stole Christmas…

We tend to burn out on F4 before actually completing the game. The hubs is on Red Dead Redemption 2 at the moment….
And, I agree! I am really going to have to torture myself to sit through everyone’s ‘art’ this week.

It’s like watching a really bad horror movie. Yeah, it’s torture… but exquisite torture…
