First, let me thank Deb Whittam for challenging me with this one.  I DO, in fact, have two quotes on aging:

I will never be an old man.  To me, old age is always fifteen years older than I am.  – Francis Bacon

Old age isn’t a battle; old age is a massacre – Philip Roth

(In the interests of full disclosure, I have to say that Francis Bacon was a seventeenth century playwright whose sister I dated a few times)

I’m not going to pick three bloggers but I would like to see Biff (sock, pow) provide two of his favorite quotes on aging…

      1. “Yo mama’s so old, she has spectacles on her nose and a pouch on her side, her youthful hose well-saved a world too wide for her shrunk shank and her womanly voice turning to rasp, pipes and whistles in her sound… and, she’s FAT!”
