My friends, I have a task that I have to perform but really don’t want to. Not to give too much information but eventually Alzheimer’s Disease goes from being quirky and forgetful to accepting it as a terminal disease. And, that is where my father currently is. So, I’ll be going down to Texas for a few days to see what is what and help out my mom. I probably won’t feel like writing any humor until I get back.

Caring for my, and my husband’s, aging parents was one of the hardest times we’ve ever experienced. They have all passed on now, but the emotional stress took its toll. I wish you, and all your family members strength and patience as you face this season in your life.
