  1. If Sandhill Cranes are the rarest cranes in North America, somebody better tell the Crane Foundation, which has been working hard to re-establish Whooping Cranes…and our state DNR, which is thinking of establishing a hunting season for them…and maybe tell all the cranes I dodge on my bike.

      I do love Nina Simone. “Sinnerman” is great; but, “I Put a Spell on You” is pure artistry… Almost as good a Marilyn Manson’s version…

        Not to mention Screamin’ Jay Hawkins. There is a guy I know who does a scary version. He is quiet and mild-mannered until he gets on stage with a guitar. I think his name is Jekyll.
