Sounds like a Japanese remake of DESTRY RIDES AGAIN (1939), with Godzilla taking the part of Jimmy Stewart and taming the Nipponese version of the old west town of Bottleneck, and Marlene Dietrich singing “See What the Boys in he Jap Room Will Have.” Like my comment, it probably didn’t translate well.
