Poetic Advice

Wait GIFs | Tenor

Good things come to those who wait

but those things are often past their expiration date.

Patience is a virtue

And, doing nothing won’t hirtue.

If something goes wrong and you’re watchful and wise,

you can blame it on some other guys…

Do it quick because, at worst,

the other guys might blame you first.

      1. I make it to work, okay… I haven’t checked my mail in three months, though. My house looks like I live here, which is not a good thing… And, writing ideas just stopped dead…

      2. There might be something in the air. Have you tried change of diet and more exercise, particularly in the morning? Btw, my sleep is more like passing out, if that makes sense.

      3. Depressed? Here, I’ll give you something to be depressed about. <Smack)
LOL! Yeah, that's how I grew up.
I'm not viewing it as a "problem." Just something I have to go through. My body wants to sleep? I sleep. Nap? I'll nap. (Been doing a lot of both lately.) It's annoying but it's gotta be all psychological. I'll dig out the root of it all soon enough.
More on this depressing topic later.

  1. Isn’t it horrible that the funniest people are also the most depressed people? I can tell when I’m getting down in the dumps, I laugh at things I shouldn’t. For instance: the upside of global warming is that you don’t have to lie out on the beach for hours to get that warm glow. Simply lie down on the sand (without a towel) and you get burnt on both sides in minutes! 🙂

    1. Depression seems to be the impetus behind a lot of humor. One of my favorite humorists, William Cuppy, killed himself when he found he was going to have to leave the apartment he’d lived in for many years….
