A concussion is a mild form of traumatic brain injury and the only time you’ll be able to describe something as both “mild” and “traumatic”.
♣
Symptoms of a concussion are pain, loss of consciousness, change in sleep patterns and depression. Because concussions can also be asymptomatic, you should always assume you have a concussion.
♣
People with concussions should see a doctor. If you can’t see your doctor, check for blindness.
♣
Talk to your doctor about any medications you are currently taking, especially if there is a lull in the conversation and you need something to talk about besides golf and the weather.
♣
The best treatment for a concussion is sleep. Sleep allows the brain to heal. A concussion might make it more difficult to fall asleep because reality hates us all just that much.
♣
Personality change is a sign of a severe concussion; for this reason, if you know someone who is rude, bitter, sarcastic and mean, hit them in the head.
♣
The earlier you seek medical care for your concussion, the easier it will be for medical professionals to empty out any bank accounts you might have money in.
♣
While recovering from a head injury DO NOT TAX THE BRAIN. If you must watch television, watch Good Morning America or The Expendables on a continuous loop.
♣
If you suspect that someone has had a concussion, check their pupils. If they don’t have any, you are probably looking at Little Orphan Annie.
♣
Concussion sufferers can experience headaches, neck pain, loss of motor skills, changes in mental health and excessive or lack of sleep. Having a concussion is an excellent way to find out what it feels like to get old.
I often feel like banging my head against a wall. Do I secretly want a concussion?

Are you a doctor or just attracted to people with head injuries?

yes. or maybe no. but i do play both on TV. either way, a good blow to the head for rude, bitter, sarcastic, and mean people can’t be all bad.

I can vouch for what you say in your last paragraph because I’m older than Joe Biden, and have all those maladies except for loss of motor skills, at which I still excel (such as driving like a mania without killing or even injuring other motorists).
