Why Wind Power, Like What My Baby Did, is a Bad Bad Thing

If the big wind turbine companies use up all of our wind, Americans will be deprived of a basic human right: A nice breeze.

If we burn fewer hydrocarbons, people will have to start taking supplements to get the carbon monoxide their bodies need.

In the United States, wind tends to blow in from West to East. This means that the wind that generates your power comes from China or Russia. Maybe harmless but do we really want to take that chance?

All those propellers might change the rotational speed of the Earth. Sure, it’s just a few seconds a day, but do you really your grandchildren to celebrate Easter in November?

From what I understand about wind power, if the wind changes direction suddenly, the turbine might go backwards and power will literally be sucked out of surrounding population centers.

Not to mention if there is a sudden tornado near a wind farm it might bring about such a surge of energy, it could wipe out all life on Earth.

By the way, wind farms do NOT create wind. If you assume that they do, it is highly likely that your friends will laugh at you outright… Mine did…

Cutting our fossil fuel use will mean fewer imports of crude oil and less influence on our politics by middle eastern sources. So, wind turbines mean less diversity in our country’s decision-making.

Wind turbines can be a danger to wildlife which sets it apart from all other human technology.

Wind turbines can make an awful amount of noise which might attract thrash and speed metal fans. This may not seem like such a bad thing but their upkeep can cost thousands a day in energy drinks alone.

  1. Do you think if enough wind farms were built on our planet, they could be used as propellers?
    Scooting around the universe until we find somewhere further away from the sun.
    (Keeping the polar bears natural habitat frozen?)

    1. Well, it’s an idea. Sadly, it is also a bad one. If you think about it, making the planet safe for polar bears can only lead to MORE polar bears wanting equal rights and then voting rights. I am NOT ready for an ursine senator and don’t think I’ll ever be…
